We had such a fun suprise the other night. Daniel and I were taking a walk around the little lake infront of our appartment when a bunch of hot air balloons decended upon us! Daniel had so much fun watching them.
He was even more excited to be outside where he could swing his new light "saver" around without me getting after him to not hit anything!Bryan took a break from studying to run around with us a bit. We were all so excited about the baby geese! They were so cute, but we didn't dare go near them, the momma goose was watching us so closely.
The Walla Walla Balloon Festival found you in the midwest! Wow, is that like Harry Potter where only a true Gryffindor can pull the sword out of the hat? Only a true Washingtonian can summon the hot air balloons! Good job!
"[The fact is] most putts don't drop. Most beef is tough. Most children grow up to be just people. Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration. Most jobs are more often dull than otherwise....Life is like an old-time rail journey--delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."- Gordon B. Hinckley, quoting Jenkin Lloyd Jones
